         เหล่าทาสทั้งหลายรู้หรือไม่ว่า เจ้านายตัวน้อยสัตว์เลี้ยงสี่ขาขนนุ่มฟูนี้ มีความสามารถพิเศษที่เรียกได้ว่าขั้นเทพเลยก็ว่าได้ และเพราะความสามารถพิเศษเหล่านี้ ก็มีส่วนที่ทำให้เจ้านายตัวน้อย ได้รับความรักจากผู้คนมากมาย ถึงขั้นที่ยอมโดนเรียกว่าเป็นทาสของความน่ารัก หรือ ‘ทาสแมว’ นั้นเอง

รู้หรือไม่ว่า ดวงตากลมโตที่มีมนต์สะกดให้เหล่าทาสหลงใหล ยิ่งเวลาที่ได้กระทบกับแสงก็ยิ่งทำให้ดวงตาดูงดงามราวกับอัญมณี และนอกจากจะความสวยงามแล้ว ดวงตาของน้องแมวนั้นสามารถมองเห็นด้วยความกว้างมากถึง 285 องศา ในขณะที่การมองเห็นของมนุษย์เรานั้น 180 องศา และยังสามารถมองเห็นในที่มืดได้ชัดกว่ามนุษย์มากถึง 6 เท่าเลยทีเดียว

รู้หรือไม่ว่า เจ้าน้อยตัวน้อยสามารถรับกลิ่นได้ดีมาก เทียบกันกับมนุษย์แล้วน้องแมวรับกลิ่นได้ไวกว่าถึง 14 เท่า เพราะมีต่อมรับรู้กลิ่นอยู่มากถึง 200 ล้านจุด และความสามารถในการดมยังแยกแยะได้ว่าใครเป็นใคร รวมไปถึงใช้กลิ่นเพื่อสร้างอาณาเขตอีกด้วย

รู้หรือไม่ว่า เจ้านายตัวน้อยนั้นเป็นสัตว์ที่มีประสาทหูดีมาก หูของน้องแมวนั้นสามารถรับเสียงได้ตั้งแต่ช่วง 40 – 65000 Hertz ซึ่งเป็นช่วงที่กว้างกว่าที่มนุษย์ได้ยินมาก เพราะมนุษย์ได้ยินแค่ในช่วง 40- 20000 Hertz เท่านั้น แถมยังสามารถรับรู้ได้อีกด้วยว่า ต้นตอของเสียงที่เข้ามาในหูนั้นมาจากไหน

รู้หรือไม่ว่า หนวดของเจ้าน้อยตัวน้อยไม่เพียงแค่ช่วยทำให้ดูน่ารัก เพราะหนวดของน้องแมวนั้นยังใช้รับสัมผัสจากสิ่งแวดล้อมรอบตัว โดยแมวจะใช้หนวดรับสัมผัสของสิ่งรอบ ๆ ตัว หรือเรียกได้ว่าเป็นตาที่สองของน้องแมวได้เลยทีเดียว เพราะสามารถตรวจจับการเคลื่อนไหวของสิ่งต่างๆ ได้ โดยที่ไม่ต้องหันไปมองนั้นเอง

รู้หรือไม่ว่า เหล่าทาสหลายคนจะรู้ว่า ลิ้นของเจ้าน้อยตัวน้อยมีลักษณะขรุขระ ซึ่งนั้นคืออาวุธลับที่สามารถจัดการกับอาหารได้อย่างหมดจด ให้เหยื่อไม่สามารถหนีรอดไปได้ แถมลิ้นของน้องแมวยังสามารถตวัดน้ำขึ้นมากินได้อย่างรวดเร็วถึง 4 รอบ / วินาที เลยทีเดียว
